Since we are going to a show tonight I thought I´d better ..........Me like !

Alone on a bench in the sun

If I go out in the morning before it gets really hot it´s so nice to just sit and read, relax and watch the kids play. Today a saw a family fill up all of their water ballons and then they had a blast.

Water, magazines, camera ( my new best friend ) and sunglasses. What else do you need for a moment in the sun. ( sun screen lotion of course but I did put that on before walking out the door ) Sitting there I realized that I haven´t shown any pictures from out here.

The high rise buildings( just from another perspective ). We´re on the 20th floor out of 30.

Tonight we´re off to a show ! I´ll tell you all about that later.

Our driver Pawan is the best

While I was shopping groceries today Pawan picked these flowers for me. He knows that I like to put them in my big bowl. Sort of the things that make my day.

Ayurveda

Today at the store I saw this product ( and others ) and thought that this is a must.  I´m in need of an oily product for my dry skin so.....it smells wonderful ! (if you like coconut that is.)The philosophy emphasizes the harmony between the physical,mental and spiritual realms,the whole being.According to Ayurveda, literally translated as the knowledge of life, the energies effecting the universe also operate on human physiology. Broken links between the mind and the body must be restored and balanced in order to achieve health,contentment and peace. This is what I need ....after yesterday. It was not one of my best days here in India. I was upset, sad and so lost. The one thing that I don´t understand is people telling me that "we will be in touch in a couple of days ". I guess I get the hint after a couple of weeks of silence. This must really be IST - India Stretchable Time. In my world not a very polite way. I better put on my sunglasses again right?Ok colors I see colors.

Im off to the shower and afterwards -Ayurveda- and a drink. I think I´ve earned it.

A wall of inspiration

Isn´t it beautiful ...I can´t help but be inspired.

The pansies are for my mother. She talked about getting pansies for easter and then winter hit again. So these are for you mother.

Here´s another point of view

If I lift my head up and look straight out from one of the balconies this is the view. Yes they are living quarters - houses. Just not what I´m used too. Every day I see things I am not familiar with. Some I like some I don´t. 

 But I can choose through which glasses I decide to look upon the world.

A view from the top

It´s amazing what you can see from 60 meters up. These beautiful birds I see and hear every day from the balcony. The peacock is actually the national bird of India. I haven´t seen the big one with his huge tale up though, but I keep hoping every day. So what else do I see ?

Lots of wild piggies and some kind of deer. I´m not sure what kind though, but I´ll figure it out. Can you spot the parrot in this picture? Hint-above my name you see something yellow and green.There´ s lots of them flying around now. 

This little cutie with his socks on was galloping around the bushes.

Cows and buffalos and bulls...Remember that I am about 60 meters up on one of my balconies. I never thought that I´d have this view from my top.
