is Sandhammaren a 20 minutes ride from Ystad. So today after saying good bye to our kids we went on an excursion to Sandhammaren.
It has the whitest soft sand I know and the beach just goes on and on...the thing is that nowadays when we live in Abbekås we rarely go there and that's a shame..everybody needs to go to Sandhammaren once a year and walk barefoot on the white wide endless beach.
( even though the winter storms seem to have eaten up some of the beach and that's just to bad )
the water was coooooold !
the dunes are big and good for finding a spot on a windy day..
and as you can see today was a windy day...
Sandhammaren has an old lighthouse...where it stands is where the shore was long time ago !
This is a tourist spot you can't miss if you are in the area..to help you along here's a map..as you can see Sandhammaren is number 1 on the map.
