Hauz Khaas ...again and again
Hauz Khaas didn't let me down today either...
I find new spots and new things every time I'm here.
I had planned to walk out by the reservoir today but I didn't. It was just too hot!
Main reason for todays visit was Lolas world though ...I had to pick up some things
for Sweden. ( my suitcase is going to be heavy ! )

I'm in pink mood
I've done some gift shopping ...and of course I bought my daily mango..tried to get the Indian whisky my husband wanted me to get but I guess I've got to travel to Bangalore to get it. I wouldn't mind going.... just not today. Too bad since he wanted the whisky for his upcoming Men-Whisky-Golf club weekend in Sweden. I still think we should get that Women-Champagne-Husbands Credit card club going ladies. Anyone interested...well... I know at least 2.... Katrin and AnnaKarin !
I'm just going to stay in pink mood all day because tonight we're going out to dinner with our dear friend Ted. I wonder if this is our last dinner together before he goes back to the US ?
Good food and some good beer...life is just pink
Woke up and felt a little blue...and pink
I'm sitting here feeling a little blue for not being by the beach anymore, but at the same time I'm feeling a little pink because in two days I get to see most of my family back in Sweden again ( a little longer until I get to se my daughter though...sad.... )and of course friends..
I got this necklace from my son Anton and when I saw it this morning I just smiled. 2 to go !
I wonder what I should bring back .....?????

I can go..a. on and on
While in the car on our way to the airport this is what we saw....
it's so green compared to where we live in Gurgaon..
Can you tell that there's a house on the top of the hill ?
some cowes wanted to cool down..with the birds...
Did you know that Goa is the smallest state in India by area. Goa is a former Portuguese province, the Portuguese overseas territory of Portuguese India existed for about 450 years until it was annexed by India in 1961.
It was so refreshing to see houses and colours and no high rise complexes...
Who wouldn't mind living here ?

Beach life
The best thing I know is to walk on the beach and collect sea shells and look at all the life in the sand and in the water. We've had long wonderful morning walks. Really early...I want to get out there before anyone else...
this morning, from a very far distance Mats said " that could be a turtle " and guess what ?
It was a turtle but the poor guy wasn't feeling so good.
Since it was so early and the tide was so low I saw many small
star fishes
this one looks like some kid made ...
saw many different kinds of crabs
and of course many different kinds of sea shells......
I don't know what made this....maybe one of you out
there knows...looks like some kind of coral ?
see the little shells thats growing on the rope...
and we found another
fishing boat..
Park Hyatt Goa resort and spa was really good
the only downside was the internet. They charge you hourly, or by the day but that doesn't really matter if you can't use it. They where really helpful though...I'm surprised, considering the amount of money we pay you would think that the internet should be free....anyhow we've had 3 wonderful days of relaxing.....so here comes some pictures from the resort...
One of the pool areas from a distance
this was our spot.....the pools where great..big and with slides and all that...it was everything but square though...nice and very service minded staff...
Lagoon rooms...we had ocean view...
beautiful waterfall... they have a lot of small waterfalls all over the resort
The resorts area is big and beautiful ...green lawns, flowers...lagoons...lots of activities of all kind....
Good food..no fantastic food....we had a three course dinner every night( italian, goan )...and there's a spa that offers a whole range of different treatments ...we had a "pita deep massage" something and that my friends was THE best massage I've ever had.

Goa is good to us...
After an easy, fast and enjoyable flight we arrived here in Goa. This is paradise...I didn't realise how much I have missed the ocean....It's so good to smell the ocean air again....and to walk on the beach and feel the sand between your toes......
This is the view from our balcony...not bad...it's so humid outside that the camera needed a little adjustment ...that's why the picture is a little misty...
It took 18 minutes to load this picture ...so this is all you get from paradise for now....

This one is totally for you Katrin in Södra Munkarp
Have you seen, tasted or grown this, according to my driver really bad vegetable ( you should have seen the expression on his face when he was trying to show me what he thought of this ), or fruit since it's called Bitter Melon, or Bitter gourd, in hindi Karela ( not to confuse with Kerala in the south but what I've heard there it's really appreciated and everybody eats it ), in latin Momordica Charantia....with such a name I'm really hesitant to even try this vegetable...because it is a vegetable even though called bitter melon !
Since I don't think you have tried it I have found yet another reason why you have to come and visit.
You can find info about all the health benefits ....google and see....for me my drivers face was all I needed and that didn't look healthy !
Academic Head of school invited to the Swedish embassy in New Delhi.
Since the academic head of school is my husband I had to post it here on the blog
He met lots of politicians and business people, both Swedish and foreign, who showed a great interest in Kunskapsskolan Gurgaon. Awesome..and of course the embassy had great food....swedish buffé...hmmmmm...sounds so good
The Deputy Prime Minister of Sweden, Mr Jan Björklund, who is also the Minister for Education and Research arrives in India today. The aim of the visit is to gain a better understanding of how globalization affects both the countries and to build new connections with key players in the area of education and research.
