Had to cheer myself up
I found an old picture on my Iphone and this one has got to be the winner of the year !
these guys drove right out into a big intersection with the ladder sticking out !!! årets dummerjöns for sure....
I also realised that I haven't shown you this one...I know my friend, who turns 50 something today by the way !!!! posted this one on her Facebook page but for some reason I didn't...
anyhow, enjoy and smile and laugh out loud...I did !

I wonder if there's a training course for this...
and I mean both " how to pack " and "how to ride the bike afterwards "......
yes, there's actually a person riding the bike......
the guys to the left needs to attend the traffic rules course...again and again and again and again....
even then I'm not sure it will help......"why follow the law when you can break it".....
Have a good day and remember.....
let's be careful out there !

As my friend would say "dagens dummerjönsar"
Today I saw some things that reminded me of my friend Katrin….
she would say here comes dagens dummerjöns but they are actually dummerjönsar since I got pictures of three, for us, very different ways of going about the traffic…
contestant number 1:
contestant 2 is actually more than one…see the one laying down….
finally contestant 3:
( sorry about the glair but I took it through the window in the car )
For us this is so out of the question when it comes to driving or behaving in traffic...the fines would be so high that we couldn't afford driving the car or MC for a while…or ever because the police would take our drivers license away…for good….

On the road again…..to and from Agra
The distance between Gurgaon and Agra is only 235 kilometres but the roads are not like at home so it takes a while to get to the destination…average speed 45km/hour ( our driver doesn't want to go on the new express way. I guess we have to do some coaching on this subject because this was the last time on this road I tell you )…..lots of bumps in the road….the good thing is that you can capture some of the things you encounter on the way…
we left really early so we got to see the sunrise with this guy….later on we met some of his relatives…..
I saw his hooves first ….
it's harvest season of rice, sugar canes and wheat….why go two times when you can really fill it up….
rice on the way…( credit to Katrin )some of the pictures are taken through the car window so….
I'm not sure that this is loaded the right way !!!! ( credit to Katrin again )
I'm so pleased that he choose a pink mattress to make the picture even better…
dagens dummerjöns enligt Katrin, I agree….
Isn't it amazing what you can see on the road ….
by the way, who did the song " On the road again" ?

Only the driver needs a helmet !!!!!!
First time I saw this I gasped for air.....
in this chaotic traffic.....but yes, according to the law ( I guess ) this is OK.....only the driver needs a helmet...for me this is playing russian roulette with the entire family...maybe we'll make it...maybe not...
No wonder they thought we where crazy wanting seat belts in the back and on top of that also headrests in the back.....( do you need them for sleeping? )
I guess I once again come to the conclusion that traffic and traffic rules ( or the lack of it ) is one of the major differences between Sweden and India.

An every day view from the car....
the vendors with the small stalls selling soft drinks and small shining packages of chips and nuts etc. are everywhere......
I see countless every day on all roads .....
I also see these guys every day on the streets.....just different breeds
then there's the auto rickshaws.....they are like bumble bees , flying all over, steering from side to side
together with ALL the cars and the, Oh so wonderful sound of the horns
and there's the fruit vendors on all roads....
they all do contribute to a colourful India and one thing is for certain....
you always have something to look at
