a couple of years ago I made a gooseberry with gin jam...Mr M still calls it the gin with gooseberry jam
it's only like 2 tablespoons of gin in a whole batch.....
the thorns are like spikes....so easy to get those needles in your fingers...
but really riped gooseberries tastes so good
you can actually see the "spike" sticking out ! between the berries...
these ones needs some more time...and then I'm making my gin with gooseberry jam again
