I'm still in Jaipur here on the blog...just so that I'm not confusing anyone...still lot more to come from the Pink city or the Peach city...as I would put it...
the palace stands at a height of 15 meters...the frontal appears as if it is just a frame and there is nothing behind it...it is the outside that is impressive....entrance to the palace is from the rear....and it's not really easy to find the sign if you come in through the bazaar street...
the entrance courtyard....everybody wanted a picture with themselves in the water....I just wanted one without everybody! almost made it..trying to cover his head with my name....
see all the colourful glasses...there's 953 stone-carved screens or windows in the palace....
beautiful doors...
I just had to get one beautify lady in here ....
we walked all the way to the top of the palace and it's quite the view....last stairs are so narrow..and steep...
the courtyard seen from above and you can also see Jantar Mantar(to the right) and the City Palace(to the left) so many sight seeing spots really centered...
Aravalli hills in the background
on of the busy bazaar streets from above...
it is worth a visit even though the front is the most impressive and beautiful part....
oh I forgot to tell you why it is called Palace of Winds..because of its 953 windows that allows the wind to flow in keeping it cool...
so don't miss if in Jaipur....next post from this beautiful city ?
hmmm, not sure maybe I will lighten up this hard surface with some animals ?
until next post..have a wonderful wednesday !
