from the spice market, Khari Baoli our driver took us along the narrow alleys (narrow meaning slightly wider than one bike rickshaw)of the "wedding" area... my head was going from one side to the other trying to see everything...which is impossible here.....
our last stop was at the silverman....and he must be in the most beautiful little alley in all of old Delhi...he's a jeweller and had lots of nice things....best part of all was that he offered us a cold coke....I think he could tell that we needed to get our blood sugar level up if he wanted to sell us something...it helped !
I instantly fell in love with this alley....just look at all these adorned door ways and entrances...
back into the street...
right next to the alley entrance I saw red and blue opening to ...
a tiny little place to eat....or have your chai...
it's not easy trying to take pictures from the back of a bike rickshaw....it's a tiny thing and with the roof...and the driver is always in the way somehow?....
THE parking spot....the finish line of our little tour...our driver had picked up some lunch while we where shopping....good for him...I mean they must eat a lot since they are on a constant workout !
healthy...yes...but the air in Old Delhi is NOT the best....I do not recommend a workout in Old Delhi
but I do recommend a tour on the back of a bike rickshaw...
just don't forget your scarf if going into Khari Baoli....
